The Small Pipe Test Plug is an inflatable test plug with a by-pass connection, used for leak testing and temporary blocking in small and medium diameter pipes. It is offered in two series: single size and multi size. In the single size series, each plug fits a specific pipe size, while in the multi size series, it fits two adjacent sizes. Maximum working pressure is 2.5 bar.
Application Area
It is used for testing, maintenance, and repair operations in building installations, sanitary plumbing connections, drainage, and small diameter sewer lines. Options are available for sizes ranging from 1 1/4" to 32" in the single size series, and from 1 1/4" – 1 1/2" to 32" – 40" in the multi size series.Technical Usage Notes
- Series and size selection should be made from the technical table according to the pipe inner diameter.
- The maximum working pressure of 2.5 bar must not be exceeded.
- Inflation should be carried out in a controlled manner with a pressure gauge pump.
- The plug must be secured in the direction of thrust during the test.
