The Low Pressure Test Plug is a test plug with a short and lightweight body, designed for low-pressure leak tests in large-diameter pipes. Thanks to its low weight, it is easy to transport and install; all sizes feature 2 x 1/4" connection outlets. The maximum working pressure is 1.5 bar.
Application Area
Low-pressure air tests in wastewater and stormwater lines are used for temporarily sealing the line and for isolation procedures for inspection purposes. Options are available for diameters between 300 mm and 1100 mm.Technical Usage Notes
- The maximum operating pressure of 1.5 bar must not be exceeded.
- One of the connection outlets can be used for inflation, and the other for pressure measurement.
- The pipe diameter must be within the range in the table for the selected size.
- During the test, pressure changes should be monitored from the gauge.
