Push Rod

The Push Rod is an auxiliary piece of equipment that enables test and plugging plugs to be pushed and positioned at the desired point inside the pipe. Thanks to the connection elements at its ends, it can be attached to the plug, allowing the plug to be safely placed at depths that cannot be reached by hand. It is available in 0.6 m, 1 m, 1.5 m, and 2 m length options.

Application Area

It is used in plugging and testing operations that need to be carried out at a certain distance from the manhole or pipe opening, to bring the plug to the correct position and keep it fixed before inflation.

Usage Notes

• The length should be selected according to the distance at which the plug will be placed.
• After the plug is inflated, the rod should be removed or relieved of load.
• The plug under pressure should not be forced with the rod.
• The connection ends should be cleaned after use.
