Multi-Size Metal Sewer Bypass Plug

The Multi-Size Metallic Sewer Bypass Plug is a multi-size plug with a metal cap, designed with a single large-diameter bypass outlet to transfer high flow rates through the plug in sewer lines. The bypass diameter increases from 2" to 8" depending on the size, helping maintain uninterrupted flow while the line is closed. The maximum operating pressure is 1.5 bar.

Application Area

It is preferred in cases where flow needs to be transferred via bypass during maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and connection works carried out on active sewer lines. Options are available for diameters between 100 mm and 1200 mm.

Technical Usage Notes

• The by-pass line must be prepared and connected before the plug is inflated.
• The maximum operating pressure of 1.5 bar must not be exceeded.
• In flowing lines, the plug must be securely fixed in the direction of thrust.
• After use, the plug and by-pass connections must be cleaned.
