The Multi-Size Metal Pipe Test Plug with By-pass is a multi-size test plug distinguished by its metal head structure and wide by-pass connections. The metal head ensures the secure support of the by-pass connections and lifting elements; multiple by-pass outlets allow high-flow transfer while the line is closed. The maximum operating pressure is 1.5 bar.Application Area
It is used in maintenance and repair works, line rehabilitation, and leak-tightness tests in sewer lines where the flow is transferred by by-pass pumping. For diameters between 70 mm and 1200 mm, by-pass options up to 2 x 1" + 4" are available in large sizes.Technical Usage Notes
- The maximum operating pressure of 1.5 bar must not be exceeded.
- By-pass hoses and connections should be selected in accordance with the diameters in the table.
- In large sizes, the plug should be carried and secured by the lifting rings.
- Do not work in front of the plug while there is flow in the line.
