Multi-Size Conical Plug and Test Plug

The Multi-Size Conical Plug and Test Plug is a conical-shaped plug that, thanks to its small diameter when deflated, can be inserted through narrow openings, and when inflated, can seal much larger pipe diameters. It can be used for both blocking and testing purposes. Depending on the size, the maximum working pressure ranges between 1.5 and 2.5 bar.

Application Area

It is used to seal or test the line in pipelines with narrow connection openings, manhole inlets and outlets, and points with limited access. Options are available for diameters between 50 mm and 1200 mm; the insertion diameter in the table indicates the narrowest opening through which the plug can be inserted.

Technical Usage Notes

• The opening must be larger than the installation diameter of the selected size.
• The maximum operating pressure, which varies by size, must not be exceeded.
• The plug must be positioned correctly in the line before inflation.
• Inflation should be carried out in a controlled manner with equipment featuring an inflation indicator.
