Multi-Size Short Pipe Test Plug

The Multi Size Short Pipe Test Plug is a multi-size test plug with a by-pass connection, designed for use in confined spaces, short pipe sections, and points close to connection fittings thanks to its short body structure. Its short installation length allows testing in places where long-bodied plugs cannot fit. The maximum operating pressure is 2.5 bar.

Application Area

It is preferred for leak testing and temporary blocking in manhole connections, short pipe sections before elbows and tees, building connection lines, and areas with limited access. Options are available for diameters between 50 mm and 400 mm.

Technical Usage Notes

• Since the gripping surface of the short-body plug is limited, the plug must be secured.
• The maximum working pressure of 2.5 bar must not be exceeded.
• The inner pipe surface must be clean and dry.
• If the by-pass connection will not be used, its cap must be kept on.
