Pressure Control Unit

The Pressure Control Unit is a control unit with a safety valve and pressure gauge that enables pressure to be controlled during the inflation of test and plugging plugs with a compressor or pump. When the set pressure is reached, the safety valve releases excess air to prevent overinflation of the plug.

Application Area

It is used in sites where rapid inflation is performed with a compressor, with large-sized plugs, and in test applications where the inflation pressure must be kept constant. Options are available with set pressures of 1.5 – 2.5 – 3.0 – 6.0 – 8.0 bar.

Usage Notes

• The set pressure of the control unit should be selected according to the maximum operating pressure of the plug used.
• Inflation should be carried out in a controlled and gradual manner with the valve.
• The outlet of the safety valve must not be blocked.
• The gauge and connections should be checked regularly.
