The 2.5 Bar Multi-Size Flexible Pipe Test Plug is a test plug with a flexible rubber body and by-pass connection, compatible with different pipe diameters using a single plug. It is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 2.5 bar in all sizes; this provides an additional safety margin in testing and blocking applications requiring higher back pressure.
Application Area
It is used for operations such as leak testing in sewer and stormwater lines, flow transfer via by-pass, and isolating the line during maintenance and repair. Single and double by-pass options are available for diameters between 35 mm and 1600 mm.Technical Usage Notes
- The maximum working pressure of 2.5 bar must not be exceeded.
- The pipe diameter must be within the minimum–maximum range of the selected size.
- Equipment with a pressure gauge must be used during inflation.
- After use, the plug should be cleaned and stored protected from sunlight.
